How it works

  1. Our Private Accommodation is for UFS MAIN CAMPUS students only. (We are too far from CUT or South Campus)
  2. We only accommodate students taking YEAR classes.
  3. Our contracts are 10 months:  From 1 February to end November 
  4. January and December YOU pay R150 per day to stay (NSFAS don’t pay for these months).
  5. DEPOSIT + ADMIN FEES + KEY DEPOSITS = ZERO.
  6. RESERVATION FEE = (REFUNDABLE) R1000.  YOU pay this to reserve a room.  Refundable when you stay the full term and during November 2027, depending on damages or disciplinary penalties.
  7. NO place is reserved or will be held for anyone without receipt of the reservation Fee.  
  8. ALL room prices for NSFAS Beneficiaries = R5200/month over 10 months irrelevant if it is a single or a sharing room.  There will be NO TOP UP if the NSFAS cap in 2027 is announced and it is less than the rent amount.
  9. Bachelor prices for NSFAS + Self Paying students = R5300/month, it will thus be determined if a TOP UP is required for NSFAS students once the 2027 cap is announced.
  10. Room prices for Self-paying students in 2027 will be R4700/month for single/sharing.
  11. NFAS Students=NO RENT till NSFAS makes payments in 2027. 
  12. IMPORTANT:  NO cancellations is allowed during 2027 until the Landlord receives up to date payment from NSFAS or Self-Paying Tenant.  NO CANCELLATIONS for anyone is allowed during the last quarter of the year  
  13. NB:::: if NSFAS for some reason defund you or DON’T make RENT PAYMENTS to the Landlord, YOUR PARENT/S or GUARDIAN will be liable for the rent.
  14. VIEWINGS can be arranged AFTER APPROVAL of the application form.
  15. Viewing timeslots is available Monday’s to  Friday’s at anytime between 08:00 – 16:00 at the commune where you wish to reserve. 
  16. 3rd Party SHUTTLE SERVICE options are available.  More details will be provided in our contracts.
  17. All communication will be strictly between 8am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays.  Communication received before or after those hours will be replied too during the said timeframes.
